Bob Ross–Style Painting Workshop
This workshop was an invitation to slow down and create without pressure. Rooted in the Bob Ross wet-on-wet technique, the experience emphasized ease, spontaneity, and the quiet joy of working with nature-inspired forms. The focus was never perfection, but presence and curiosity.
What stood out most was the energy Caryn Pierce brought into the room. As a certified Bob Ross instructor, she led with calm confidence, warmth, and humor. What felt especially admirable was her willingness to take a creative leap, while running a completely different business, Caryn chose to elevate her artistic voice and share it fully. Her approach set the tone for the day, allowing the morning to unfold naturally into an afternoon filled with laughter, focus, and creative flow.
As participants worked through their mountain landscapes, Caryn offered guidance that encouraged trust in the process rather than rigid instruction. Each finished painting reflected both skill and confidence, a reminder of what can happen when people are given permission to try.
What this experience reinforced for me is the power of creativity when it’s framed as an invitation. Choosing to make space for art takes courage, and when that space is held with generosity, the impact extends far beyond the canvas.
