Often referred to as “not your fathers’ jazz,” the Brian James Quartet is a soul jazz band that carefully fuses elements of jazz, funk, R&B, and rock to create a unique, high energy sound. Drawing on the collective diversity of the musical backgrounds of its musicians, the music is alive and constantly evolving.
