Mauro DePasquale’s Jazzed Up

Peruvian-born guitarist Carlos Odria has been described as a “breathtakingly talented musician…with an immense technical skill” (Worcester Telegram) and as a “guitar wizard” (Gamble Rogers Fest). His original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards and Latin American tunes deliver an exciting blend of international styles such as bossanova, Afro-Peruvian festejo, rumba flamenca, and Afro-Caribbean vibes with an improvisational approach inspired by the rich tradition of American jazz.

The Dave Schneider Trio
The Dave Schneider Trio is an energetic group performing Latin Jazz and Rumba Flamenco on guitar, upright bass, and percussion. The guitarist, Dave Schneider entered the world of Latin music at age 17, listening to Paco de Lucia, Buena Vista Social Club and Ottmar Liebert. He later studied jazz and classical music all while composing his own unique pieces. Evan Carley is a virtuoso upright bassist who though he very young has played with many local jazz greats. Casey Belisle is a seasoned percussionist who’s infectious rhythms will get even the stiffest foot tapping.

Worcester Jazz Collective
The Worcester Jazz Collective is an award winning group that explores jazz and its many forms. The WJC is built around the core of baritone guitarist Tom Lubelczyk, bassist Geoff Oehling, and drummer Tom Spears, with a range of guest musicians at each performance. The group’s repertoire spans the genre of jazz from traditional to contemporary along with a mix of popular and classical music. The WJC was formed in 2014 and since its creation, it has been a showcase for the many wonderful musicians that make up the Worcester jazz scene.
The Piano Man Topher Brew
Topher has 16 years of live experience entertaining bar patrons and crowds wanting to sing along to their favorite songs. Singing, rocking keys and strumming the ol’ six string is Topher’s claim to fame playing the greats, from Billy Joel and Elton John to Rihanna and The Backstreet Boys.
Joe Cicero and Selena Wilson Reich, two seasoned musicians who bring their love of music making to life in a live performances throughout New England.
Mike O & Cam
Mike and Cam have been playing together for the last few years. They began playing during their time as roommates at UMass Amherst and have come a long way since then! Their musical range currently includes covers of old favorites and instrumental pieces, with original songs on the way. Their favorite songs are ‘Hey Hey What Can I Do’ by Led Zeppelin (Mike) and ‘Old Man’ by Neil Young (Cam). Both grew up in the Worcester area and work in Boston.
